I am such an 'as' offender, ugh. I've been in a place where I'm very disappointed in my writing. It's a good thing overall, I suppose. My editing 'eye' has improved to be able to notice the flaws, at least! But I've been stuck on how to improve for a few weeks.<br /><br />This is one major issue that definitely needs work. Just remember that every tool has its use and eradicating one completely then limits your writing palette. Like ice cream, "as" is best used in moderation.
